Hi!
I've just thought it would be a good thing for us to start finding out the spanish translation to certain technical terms hard to translate. I will do the kick-off with this word: backhaul. Easy, eh?
Does anyone have an accurate translation to it?
Tnx.

I quote wordreference forums:
(1) In wireless network technology, to transmit voice and data traffic from a cell site to a switch, i.e., from a remote site to a central site.
(2) In satellite technology, to transmit data to a point from which it can be uplinked to a satellite.
(3) To transmit data to a network backbone
so they suggest to translate it as "retroconexion" or just "conexion"

What about "exploit"? We all probably know what it is. The wikipedia says:
An exploit (from the same word in the French language, meaning "achievement", or "accomplishment") is a piece of software, a chunk of data, or sequence of commands that take advantage of a bug, glitch or vulnerability in order to cause unintended or unanticipated behavior to occur on computer software, hardware, or something electronic (usually computerized). This frequently includes such things as gaining control of a computer system or allowing privilege escalation or a denial of service attack).
But, how do you translate "exploit" into spanish?
