Hola, os dejo las preguntas que he apuntado de la sesión de hoy:

OPOSITOR 1:
1. How do the restaurants avoid bad report through social media?
2. How Local Government deal with Local Business? Do you have an opinion about this?
3. Nowadays we have this kind of technology (social media) in the private sector. Do the employers take this seriously?
4. If you were in a position of Human Resources, what advantages of Social Media and IT would be for companies, instead of traditional way of communications?
5. What would you be looking for a candidate if you were in my position (Si fueras parte del tribunal)?
6. In Ireland, they are increasing the minimum wage. Do you think it will happen here? Raise the minimum wage?

OPOSITOR 2:
1. What would you do to avoid people steal data from your “abono transportes”?
2. Would this problem be more difficult (stealing data from abono transportes) if the implementation of the system is bigger? For example, an implementation for all Metro Madrid.
3. The Goverments worldwide are implementing software in Open Source License. Do you think this is a good approach?
4. Social Media; How would you advice a politician to use this tool properly?
5. In certain country you need to have a minimum qualification to enter the public administration. Does this apply to the Spanish administration?
6. “Investing In People” is a concept used by United States companies. The company pays their employees Masters and Degrees. What is your opinion about this?

1. What is more important in live, knowledge or Common Sense?
2. How do you prepare yourself to deal with emotional situations?
3. Do you work for a company now? In a specific project?

5. Imagine I have been using this technique and doing work in a wrong direction. How do you communicate this to the client?

Por cierto, debo de ser de los únicos sin la tarjeta pero exactamente qué problemas de privacidad hay?? Porque veo que el tema es recurrente...

El problema viene de la posibilidad de leer los datos de la tarjeta, con algún "dispositivo" activo.
Pero vamos, que la respuesta viene a ser que por un lado, sólo se lee a muy corta distancia, y por otro lado, que los datos importantes van cifrados.
No obstante, para los desconfiados, venden carteras/fundas forradas de metal, la pega es que hay que sacar la tarjeta para pasarla cerca del lector

Uff.. gracias scaramanga, la verdad es que no tenía ni idea. De todas formas, de las 8-10 preguntas que hacen a cada opositor, viendo que se cambia de tema radicalmente de una a otra, es normal que alguna no la sepas ni en español, espero que lo tengan en cuenta!!

Yo tampoco tenía ni idea del tema, y por otro lado nunca había oído la palabra "homesickness".

Hola,

En cuanto a la longitud de la traducción, los dos primeros opositores no la acabaron. No recuerdo hasta donde tradujeron, no lo apunté, pero creo que no les faltó mucho para terminar. Los dos últimos si acabaron la traducción.

En cuanto al nivel en el oral fue bueno en mi opinión, el último opositor fue el que mejor nivel tenía.

No le deis tampoco tanta importancia a acabar el texto. Importa si está bien traducido, sino da igual que acabes o no, solo puntúan las frases correctas.

Coincido en lo ya comentado de que algunas preguntas son complicadas incluso en español. Con algunas te puedes quedar un pelín bloqueado pensando respuesta, como para encima responder en inglés. En fin, habrá que estar concentrado.
